Online scouting for that perfect property has become all the craze before investing in real estate.
When doing an online search for property and real estate in Namibia, it becomes clear that those in the industry have realised the importance of having a presence on the Web.

Even major South African property agencies have branched out, even though mostly virtual, and claimed a stake of the Namibian cyber property market.
Residential property developers have been leading this trend by posting and gauging interest in new developments through websites and listings on the more established portals.
Websites like privateproperty.co.za, even though run by South African companies, have extensive listings of Namibian properties.
On the local front, myproperty.com.na gives buyers a comprehensive view of developments.
With many buyers, across retail sectors, turning to the Internet to save time and money, the online listing and marketing of property is set to continue to grow.
Crayola® has had crayons around since 1903, and is the definitive "art tool" for children. We all grew up with the colors, and the names (of which few have changed), but how do they translate into the digital/internet world? The following link will take you to a site that has all the colors (128), their names, and their Hex and RGB values. Just what you need to make that web site for kids!
Here is a about the differences between museums' online photography collections in the US and the UK.
British photographic collections lagged far behind their American counterparts, not only in what they offered, but also how it was offered, and to whom. In Britain, the collections are either divided into small bundles of infotainment, or offered as a business transaction to specialists, picture editors and the media, who buy reproduction rights. In America, by contrast, there is much more of an understanding that accurate and methodically catalogued online collections can appeal to academic researchers and photo enthusiasts alike.
Lots of food for thought there: just who are these collections, and these web sites, really made for? If one system views their collections as art for the public and the other system view them as a revenue stream, can each of these systems learn from the other?
I've often said, only half-jokingly, that I want to be the V&A's resident ghost someday to give me time to go through all the collections; if the article is correct about their display rotation policy, it looks like I'll have to.

It combines all my loves; Classic cars, Rockabilly and horror movies.
In other news, I recorded an interview with Rock n Roll legend Charlie Gracie last night. I am hear to tell you that he is one of the nicest people it has ever been my privilege to speak to. The man has been an inspiration to people like The Beatles, Van Morrison and The Hollies, to name a few. He's been in the business for over 50 years and is still performing and touring today. He has been married to the same lady for 50 years and still keeps his feet firmly on the ground.
The website is still a work in progress. We have the hosting finalized, so it's just a acase of designing and getting the thing up and running.
After a flurry of activity, I haven't posted anything recently...and here's the secret about why:
I've been working diligently on a new website! That's right, ericamay.com will be new and improved...coming SOON! Anyway, since I don't have a lot of new photos to show you all right now, I thought I'd give you a little taste of what you'll be seeing in the future from ericamay photography and the new website features. Just a note: the pretty seafoam green color is not the actual color of the background. :) In reality, it's creamy colored. Like vanilla ice cream -- yum! Enjoy!
Splash page with options to connect via a high-speed connection (Flash) or dial-up (HTML) -- or to visit this blog...all from one location: ericamay.com
Home page slideshow with music.
Improved galleries with thumbnails and automatic slideshow. Expect MORE photos and easier navigation through the 5 topical galleries.
Calendar with booked dates marked -- the little bubble pops up with details about the photo shoot on that day...for easier booking, and so you can all keep up with where I am for your social calendars. Ha ha. :)
Contact page for getting in touch with me directly from the site!
I am so excited for the new site to roll out. I'm still searching for some good music that I can obtain permission to use...if you know any awesome local bands whose music/style/lyrics would match the photography style/subjects of my site, PLEASE let me know! I'd love to support some local musicians and also have some sweet music on the site.
Its not rocket science, but I get asked about it a fair amount so here is a very rough and ready over view of how I develop an updatable, portable and search engine friendly navigation. I'm calling it the eclipse method because it relies on setting up the html and css so that when certain classes and sub classes align beautiful things happen.
So I've been doing a lot with JavaScript library for about 10 months now. From beta to now 1.21b. And, it is my favorite framework of choice. So, I will be building a collection of components and Moo plugins for the world to use to share my love and gee!
As mention in a past posting (), Flash is an animated component that is usually used as intro to a website, but can be implemented within web pages as well.
Keep in mind that entire websites can be created from the Flash software, but there are big issues with that approach. First, it means that your site will probably need more bandwidth over the internet for a viewer to load the website. Second, once the Flash website is created, it is cumbersome to make any changes at a later time. Third, if a client needs to change designers (i.e. the designer goes out of business or does not provide good customer service), the client needs to have and give access to the Flash source file. Without the source file, Flash needs to be recreated rather than revised, which increases the cost of the project.
As a suggestion, it might be a good idea to ask a prospective designer what softwares they will use to create a client website.
